This terrific organization holds a Leadership Academny every Tuesday night, emphasizing math, reading, writing and life skills, and is ideal for students trying to stay on the right track in school and on the streets. The program is free and requires no application or registration. We are encouraging our junior high and high school students to attend as frequently as they can. In January 2009, we held our annual ice skating party at Yueba Buena Ice Rink. Over 30 students, coaches and friends particiapted in the ice skating and the pizza party that followed. Our bowling party will take place on May 9 at the Presidio Bowl. Anyone interesting in volunteering or supporting our organization is welcome to attend this event, which will be a great opportunity to meet many of our children and coaches. If interested, please contact Farley Neuman at fneuman@jgn.com or 415-705-0404.
